As a licensed private investigator in Oklahoma, I understand how emotional and complex child custody disputes can be. My role is to gather factual, verifiable evidence that supports the court’s ultimate goal protecting the best interests of the child, as required by 43 O.S. § 112. Every piece of information I collect must be obtained ethically and lawfully, ensuring it can be trusted and admitted in court. That means no illegal recordings, trespassing, or deceptive tactics, only professional, transparent investigative methods that respect privacy and comply with Oklahoma law.

When documenting potential neglect or unsafe behavior, my focus is always on the child’s safety and environment. I rely on methods such as discreet surveillance from public locations, lawful interviews, and careful review of publicly available information, including social media activity. I also document verifiable facts, such as repeated instances of a parent leaving a child unsupervised, visible hazards in the home, or evidence of substance abuse without speculation or exaggeration. Each photo, observation, or statement I include must meet Oklahoma’s evidentiary standards for authenticity under 12 O.S. § 2901, meaning it can be proven to be exactly what it claims to be.

I take great care to ensure all reports I provide are professional, objective, and well-organized. Each entry includes dates, times, locations, and supporting context so that the court can clearly understand the situation. My job isn’t to make judgments or offer opinions, it’s to provide a clear, factual record of behavior and conditions that could impact the child’s well-being. Judges and attorneys rely on accuracy and neutrality, not speculation, and that’s what I deliver.

In Oklahoma custody cases, the truth must always be presented ethically and responsibly. By following the law and focusing on facts, private investigators can help ensure that children are placed in safe, stable environments while maintaining the integrity of the judicial process. My commitment is to provide credible, admissible evidence that supports the court’s mission, making decisions that protect and serve the best interests of every child involved.
